Timo Kyllönen is responsible for the business related to the installation of Ekovilla products. He considers it particularly important that Dynamik Allocator has helped to organise the installation and transport work in a systematic and optimal way. Allocator controls and calendars the installation work in a calendar so that the ordered installation work can be clearly outlined. It makes it easy to see, for example, how far the installations have been booked, how they have been scheduled and also if there is still room for smaller installations.
AI does not leave gaps in the planning, but takes into account the time available for the job, the number of workers needed, the vehicles available and the routes to be taken. “When an installation job is ordered, the schedulers don’t have to think about who can do the job, when it makes sense to do it, what vehicle to use and what route to take to the job site,” says Kyllönen.
One of the best benefits of AI is that schedulers can use their time to improve the quality of customer service and customer experience, for example. The amount of manual work is reduced because it can be done by AI. In the past, up to half of a scheduler’s time was easily spent allocating installations.
Dynamik Allocator is an easy-to-use cloud service that can be used on different devices, regardless of time and place. It has ready-made interfaces so that it can be seamlessly integrated with Ekovilla’s own systems. Allocator can also be used through its own interface, if required.
It has been found that Allocator-organised drives can reduce the number of kilometres driven by 9-27%. This immediately reduces the amount of fuel used and the wear and tear on the fleet and roads. It is often thought that organising environmentally friendly transport is automatically more expensive, when in reality significant savings can be made with careful planning.
All in all, Kyllönen is pleased that the AI solution was chosen for the installation of Ekovilla. Right from the start, the solution presented by Dynamik seemed to be a very sensible and smooth solution. The implementation, the training on the main user model and the easy-to-use application have been very smooth. “Dynamik’s expert coders are also very competent and professional, so you can trust their work,” says Kyllönen.
The core values of Ekovilla include responsibility and greenness. “It is important to us that our products and services reflect these values at every stage. This was one of the key reasons why we chose Dynamik as our partner, along with their expertise.
Ekovilla is a pioneer in carbon negative insulation and has been active in the construction industry for over 40 years. Ekovilla is part of the EcoUp Oyj circular economy group, which offers its customers and partners solutions based on carbon neutrality, material reuse and energy efficiency.
Made from recycled materials, Ekovilla insulation is designed and manufactured for conditions where the weather varies from cold in winter to hot in summer. It provides energy-efficient insulation and has an M1 emission rating. The long history of Ekovilla has shown that it is safe, breathable and very durable in use. Customers receive Ekovilla insulation conveniently installed. Organising the installation work and the associated transport in a rational and ecological way has therefore required its own development work. Dynamik Allocator meets this need.
